S.I.M.P.L.E.

With the hype of New Year resolutions behind us, its time to revaluate.  Where are you?  Where do you want to be?  What will it take to get there?  A lot can happen in 3 months… new job situations, school semester blues, tough relationships, and new babies growing. (Congrats Sherlyn!!)
This past week we all had time to take a break.  A break from our regular workout routines and early morning starts.  I consistently remind myself as I get up at 4:30 to prepare for class, ‘ If it’s hard…IT’S WORTH IT!! ‘  If it wasn’t hard, everyone would be doing it!!
OKC half marathon is upon us.  We are 5 weeks out and I couldn’t be more proud.  So many of us have been training our minds and bodies to work together.  I always say… If we can get our minds to cross the finish line, our bodies will follow.
Why do I ask for positive affirmations every morning?  Simple- because the power of encouraging stories and words leads to others confirmation in their abilities.  At times, we all can feel inadequate.   But when I choose to leave the negative behind, and choose a positive- right attitude, I can DO ANYTHING!!
Start today.  Think about your January goals and choose one.  Write it on your mirror and take one step a day to accomplish it.  Before you know it, you will be at the finish line.  I want to help you celebrate your victory.  Post your one goal…scary, I know.  Ok, GO!!
S- Stop making excuses.
 I- ‘I GOT THIS’ attitude
M- Make today count!
P- Practice your positive thinking
L-Live like there’s no tomorrow…Dance when no one’s around…
E- Encourage one other.  We are our biggest cheerleaders!!

My weight was 162.8...even though I lost some it was a rough week, this past week. I guess I was out of my routine with the kids being gone and not being at bootcamp. I am ready to get back in my routine! And what a way to start it then that AWESOME workout this morning! Oh and one of my goals is run the half marathon in May! and not just that one! I am already planning to run the Tulsa Run and the Route 66 run... Misty :-)

Weight: 167.6. I am so ready to get back in routine and hate myself for missing this morning. Sounds like I definitely needed that workout to get me closer to my goal. Main goal is start back training and run my first 5K in 2011.

Loved the workout this morning with the new bands! That was so much fun partnering up! My goal is to run another 5K April 9th and beat my time which was 31 minutes and 29 seconds. My goal is to run it under 30 just a little. Unfortunately my joint issues are holding me back on my goals a little. I am excited to announce I am going to be a cheerleader at the OKC marathon! I am supporting all of you that want to do this. I met my goal of my 1/2 in November and now I am excited there are so many of you that want to do this as well. Keep me in your prayers that my body heals so I can have that praise report soon! Love you bootcampers!

I started the new year with the goal of establishing consistency in working out, better eating habits and losing 8 lbs. I still have work to do on the latter two but thanks to bootcamp I am making good head way on the first one! Baby steps, baby steps :)

My weight is 142.2 this week. I am so ready to be back in a routine! Spring Break followed by crazy work schedules and family in town has not made for a very organized or productive March...and I miss my early morning friends :) Have really tried to compensate for missing with really healthy eating and so far so good! Looking forward to a great April and a brand new session of F.I.T.!!!
